I am so very glad that today was slow and uneventful. I went no where and did nothing but make phone calls and work on the computer. It was so nice to slow down.

Breakfast was coffee and a Kodiak cake with a little natural peanut butter and local blackberry jam. I have decided I like making one big pancake and folding it over to make a yummy pb and j sandwich  This is where I normally would have some fruit to round out the meal, but that would require a trip to the store and I hadn’t gotten there yet. The title has nothing to do with baking or cooking. It has everything to do with the business mixers that have been keeping me ridiculously busy.

I started off  Tuesday morning slowly with coffee (2 Points + and brought to me by the other half!) I eventually got hungry but lacked the motivation to find food. Normally when that happens I grab some fruit so I don’t get overly hungry. That doesn’t work when you haven’t had time to shop, and have no fruit.

After coffee we headed off to Costco to buy food for a business mixer, then off to Target to buy door prizes for our tradeshow tables. I also picked up a new hair dryer (long story). While we were out we had Costco hot dogs for lunch (16 Points +). Not my idea of lunch, but it’s what the other half wanted. In a way it was good he choose the hot dogs. I probably would have chosen the 5 Guys next to the Costco and done major damage. At Target I got a non-fat cocoa cappuccino (4 points +) (more…)

Not much to say today. Yesterday was my usual Monday which started off with my usual early morning meeting at Denny’s.  After all the rich food I had last weekend I should have ordered the oatmeal. I ended up having lots of coffee and ordering the French toast (9 Points +). I get mine with egg whites and no margarine.

After yesterdays adventures I did very little Sunday. I did do a little laundry becuase I had to , but nothing else of interest.

Breakfast was a Tim Horton’s Maple Donut and Coffee (9 Points + ). Yes, I went a bit crazy at yesterday, but there were so many flavors I really wanted to try.

Although we had a late breakfast a bunch of sugar was not enough to hold me the rest of the day. I decided to make an egg sandwich because it seemed like a filling option without using too many points (9 Points +). Before I made the sandwich the other half brought me another cup of coffee. I felt so loved =) Between the egg sandwich and dinner I also got into a danish from Tim Horton. Yeah not such a good idea. (more…)

Yesterday we decided to spend the day in Canada with the other half’s sister and her family. We started our adventure with lunch in White Rock. We ended up eating at Slainte By the Pier. I had the bacon, cabbage and spuds. It was mashed potatoes and slices of pork loin covered in a white sauce. No, that was not a Weight Watcher’s friendly dish. The menu was so unique I threw caution to the wind and went exploring. I also had an Irish coffee because it just seemed like the right thing to do =) We all agreed that we have to go back to that restaurant. I wanted to eat almost everything on the menu, and don’t get me started on the dessert menu. After lunch we went walking on the pier and along the beach.

Since I missed Thursday I’m going to combine Thursday and Friday.

Thursday consisted of working at home for most of the day. I now have most of the blog posts written for the day job, and have coordinated with other tradesman for some guest posts. Lot’s of forward progress. In the evening I went to a meeting then came home and crashed. In a nutshell that was my Thursday.

Sorry for being M.I.A yesterday; the title says it all. My day was pretty jam packed. I took care of some computer work then had to go to two meetings. I finally got home from the two meetings and was just starting to get back to work when someone showed up at the house. Those people left and I was just getting back to work when I realized it was pretty late and I should get dinner going. I got dinner made and cleaned up and was trying to unwind and have some me time. A couple of really important e-mails came in and the other half was demanding my attention. I finally gave up and just went to bed.
