Another mellow day around here not much to report. More working from home and having a slow day. If it doesn’t stop raining around here I’m going to need to build an ark (also works for tsunamis). It never really stopped raining or got warm last summer. It’s just been raining and snowing for months. I love Seattle but I definitely love and savor the sun breaks we usually get even on rainy days.

Table provided byRoni’s Food Journal Generator.
Breakfast was a thrown together smoothie that was more like frozen yogurt that I had to eat with a spoon. Yummy =)
Mixed Berry Frozen Yogurt Smoothie
1 Frozen Banana
1/2 Cup Frozen Mixed Berries
1 Handful Spinach
1/2 cup Plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
3 Tablespoons Pineapple Juice (My cheap blender needed some help)
***I counted the recipe as 6 Points +. The whole “free” fruit thing in this new plan has led to a lot of debate on how to calculate a recipe like this. I throw it into the recipe builder and go with the points it spits out (unless it’s something simple like dipping veggies in dressing). Some people count everything but the “free” fruit. To each his own.***
Lunch was awesome. I love, love, love the Snohomish Bakery. I had a yummy turkey and provolone on house made multi grain bread. The best part was the sandwich was topped with lots of yummy veggies. On the side I had a salad of field greens and more yummy veggies. I love it when I talk the other half into braving the parking and taking me there =) It didn’t hurt that he needed more tea.
The recipe for dinner can be found here or on the Vegetarian Times website. As always I made a few small changes along the way. There are a lot of steps to the recipe but they are worth it. I strongly suggest you put the ingredients in your recipe builder. I had the 7 servings I got out of the recipe come out as 10 points per serving. When I calculated points off of the listed nutrition information I got something completely different.
I finally got my last W2 in so I can finally file the taxes. That means I get to finish off the books for my jewelry business this weekend (not to be confused with my day job) so I can get those filed too. I’ll also be taking care of the boring house chores and trying to get jewelry made for our new line. Who knows how much will actually get done this weekend. I may end up being slothful.
